How to be the man that she wants

First of all, the greatest mistake you are going to make is making her feel that you’re chasing her. Don’t ever make that mistake! I have noticed that usually when guys don’t chase, girls naturally come. Research shows that humans often undervalue those who are always available to them. Get bad to the ones who treat us like Gold and try to be good to the ones who treat us like crap. To be that guy she wants, you just have to be you. Be yourself, don’t lie about anything and don’t chase -you could admire, you could try to get her to notice you but I repeat ”don’t chase.”

Another thing you’ve to work on is your confidence. Imagine yourself as the sales representative of a company and you’re asked to discuss on behalf of the company in a board meeting or personally with a client. You’re likely asked to convince the person in question about the benefits of working with your company or buying a product from your company, you’ll agree with me that confidence is needed. Likewise here, if you want her then she needs to view you as confident. There would be other guys; some smarter, some nicer, and some more funny but why would she pick you over them? That is where confidence comes in. Don’t get me wrong, she might not fall for you or accept you because you’re confident.

If that happens, usually it might be that she’s not just feeling your vibe. At times you might be tested or she’s probably not sure. Whatever may be the case, be nice and understanding. Give her some space. If you go after her when she gives you the sign of a red flag or I’m not interested kind of vibe, then you’re simply being an asshole and you may never get her. Lastly, don’t be too available either physically or while chatting with her. When you chat with her, try to bring conversations that will keep her on the edge then close the conversations. Don’t give away too much- tease her, tell her the things you like about her but don’t be all romeo all the time. You should try to add a bit of suspense. While doing this, you’ll naturally notice if she has a thing for you. You’ll feel it in your guts- the way she looks at you, the way she smiles, the things she says to you, all these can’t be hidden. With all these points discussed, she’s yours my friend!

New year, Old me

Just as the title implies, a new year doesn’t change who you are. you’re still the same person, same character in your own story- nothing changes. although many might refer to a new me as new ideas, new plans, new goals, etc.
those old plans and goals you were working on in 2020, have they been completed? it takes a lot to be a new person just like it takes a lot to leave your old ways. “change is constant” they say, but it’s never easy to adjust to a change. i used to be a victim of all those motivational quotes. “new year, new me” “write down your new year goals” “forget about the old you, it’s a new year and a new you” we do so much forgetting so as to forget the point that we’re still the same person. there isn’t anyone or anything that’s going to change that except us. you’ve to first of all accept who you are and who you were. once you’ve accepted who you are and were, then you keep track of your old goals and plans. to transition, you can’t move to the next stage without going through the previous. mind you, it’s your life and not anyone else’s.

Story writing specifics 2.0

To begin writing, you need to be ready to read. When I say “read,” I’m not just talking about reading your own writing, your script, or ideas. It also involves reading other people’s books, poems, quotes, short stories, whatever you can get your hands on that has to do with writing. Reading helps with research- this is true because when you read, you form new ideas about a subject, a genre of writing, a style of writing and how to put ideas together for your own intended story. A popular research done shows that reading helps to; 1. improves brain connectivity 2. increases your vocabulary and comprehension.

The two benefits listed above, a writer needs to be able to express him/herself better. further, nurturing our ability to explain our ideas to others. Writing gives us an added advantage of communication and thinking skills. I, personally can testify that reading helps to build the writer in you
Before I started writing in 2018, I had built an interest in reading other people’s works; be it articles, poems, short stories, novels. It wasn’t easy because I never liked reading except for the entertainment. I was lazy at picking up things to read but the drive was within me to write, just didn’t have any motivation, and reason to. What helped me? I have this logic I kept handy, ‘Reading builds your vocabulary of words and in other for me to be an effective writer, I need to get familiar with a lot of words and how to use them’ just like I was finding it difficult, if you too find it difficult to write then I would advise you make reading your interest- not talking about reading for entertainment but for knowledge.
