Spread your wings

In short, exploration. Finding your inner self, or like some would say “realizing your gift.” It sounds easy but trust me, it’s not. It involves you leaving your comfort zone, doing things you never thought of doing, which could include things you don’t have interest in. When you limit your mind to only what you enjoy doing, you are just doing what you’re used to and staying firm in your comfort zone. Personally, I find it boring following the same time table of events for 7 days, non-stop. Imagine what the world would’ve been like if we all did the same thing, wore the same type of clothes, listened to the same type of music, had the same gift/talent, spoke the same way, Et cetera. We would have been living in a perfectly tinted bubble. Shameful as it would have been, we might not really have had people bring out their full potentials, learn how to be better at what they do, learn new skills or even rise to the level of true stardom because all we would’ve ever had would be impractical copycats. The world needs originality at the expense of time. Time and unforeseen circumstances take place leaving us at the wrong place at times.

What must we do to spread our wings despite time and whatever circumstance that may come our way? Keep reading, keep observing, keep learning. Don’t stop at that, keep looking for every opportunity to try something new. Keep an open mind, always be ready to learn from others. Don’t allow ego make you chase bubbles with the thought of it being a star.
