My experience with a wonderful roommate

There’s nothing worse than living with someone whose ideas and lifestyle doesn’t correlate with yours. Accomodation gets very tough most of the time, leaving poor students unlucky. Some even say having a roommate is like getting married- it has it’s fun days, the days of drama are also constant. Unluckily for me, I was blessed with an egocentric individual for a roommate. Oh my goodness! I wonder how I coped at times. He was so full of himself, he didn’t care about anyone else. I was always willing to sacrifice for us both but when he had something, he would rather hoard it. When I summoned up courage to tell him how he has been messing up, Something slapped me back to reality- I was reminded that I’m squatting.
It became crazy when I had to stay out because he had a girl come over without informing me. It happened for times uncountable. As much as I got angry, what could I have done? Obviously, you can’t say much when you’ve little or no power over a situation. You must be wondering how I dealt with the situation. Well, I did nothing!
I had to leave for sometime to regain the lost value. I knew coming back wouldn’t change anything but what option did I have. Are we going to talk about the days he acted like the boss? It feels like the world is about to end when it comes to doing the dishes. Is it the day he put mosquito coil in the room which almost choked us to our ends? Series of strange events would make you think he is mad or possessed. Well, I’m happy it’s a thing of the past now. If you like your sanity and don’t want drama in your life, make sure you understand the person you want to live with.
